The Original List 26/07/11

I’ve recently found the Come Blog-A-Long group on Ravelry and decided to take part in their Year of Projects. The idea is to create a list of patterns you want to make, from a book, magazine, Ravelry, etc and to make over the next year. I’ve chosen patterns that I like the look of and that I think will be interesting to do. Some are going to be Christmas presents for friends and family, and some are for me for fun. List can, and mine probably will, change over the next year, but the idea is to have some goals in place. The aim is also to blog about your projects every week, hopefully on a Sunday. So I’ll do my best to keep repetition from WIP Wednesdays and FO Fridays to a minimum. So without further ado, here is my list:

Scarves and Shawls

I have a thing for scarves just now. I love that they work up pretty quickly. Some

of these are Christmas presents and some of them I might change my mind about later.

Amigurumi

Some of these are also on my gift list. I expect this list will probably be extended over the next year too.

Other Things

I’m really looking forward to making the things in this list. The tote bag will be for keeping my projects in and carrying them around while they’re in progress. The Flower Coasters are what first got me interested in crochet, when they came up on Craftzine, then amigurumi reeled me in, so I’m really looking forward to making a set of them.

Over the next few months we’ll see how well I do at getting through the list and how much I change.
